Marzocchi Pompe grows stronger in China
Marzocchi Pompe, a Bolognese company (headquartered in Casalecchio di Reno) specialized in the design, production and marketing of high-performance pumps, motors and gears, strengthens its position on the Chinese market with the creation of Marzocchi Symbridge Hydraulic (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.
A company under Chinese law established in joint-venture with Symbridge, which has always been a partner of the Emilian company, Marzocchi of Shanghai is 45% owned by the Casalecchio di Reno company and 55% by the Chinese company; its mission is to accelerate Marzocchi Pompe's expansion in this market, making the most of its growth signals.
The contribution that Symbridge can offer in terms of know-how and knowledge of the local market is extremely important in this regard. "We are very pleased to have completed this project. China, which is currently one of the few countries in the world with a growing GDP, represents a key market for Marzocchi Pompe", commented Gabriele Bonfiglioli, CEO of Marzocchi Pompe.
"The share relating to rotary pumps within the Chinese Fluid Power sector is estimated at more than half a billion euros. The potential is therefore very significant, and we expect this operation to be an important growth driver for us. The new JV - concluded Bonfiglioli - will allow us to provide on-site technical support, which represents for us one of the success factors for promoting our models".
Marzocchi Symbridge Hydraulic will soon be operational. The Bolognese company and the Chinese partner are already working to create a mother-tongue sales network and a warehouse of components ready for delivery in order to meet market demand in real time.
