Kubota: the M7003 series debuts in Hanover
The new M7003 series by Kubota will be available on the market starting from the second quarter of 2020. This third generation tractor will arrive on the market much earlier than expected thanks to recent technological advances and the continued success of the previous M7002 model. The M7003 series will therefore be the protagonist of the Kubota stand during the seven days of Hanover. Equipped with the latest Kubota stage V engine that increases efficiency and reliability, the new series has 3 power levels from 130 Hp, 150 Hp and 170 Hp at 1900 RPM, and a further increase of 5-20 Hp of power.
The new engine package includes a DPF anti-pollution device and SCR technology to reduce NOx emissions. The engine also offers a DPF cleaning interval extended from 3000 to 6000 hours, improving maintenance performance. As usual, these new models will be available with two types of transmissions, KVT and Powershift. The Powershift model has a new function called Xpressrestart. This function controls the master clutch by activating the brake pedal. The operator can therefore stop the tractor without using the clutch pedal, ensuring maximum comfort and productivity. In particular, the operations that require the use of the front loader become simple and comfortable. In addition, the M7003 series will include a hydraulic power steering system with Multi Speed Steering Control. This can be set based on the tractor application and the speed requirements, increasing overall machine manoeuvrability and easing control.
