FS6.26, Faresin's compact telehandler
the recent EIMA International 2024 event Faresin Industries introduced its FS6.26 telescopic handler, the most compact in its range. The evolution of the previous FR6.26, one of the greatest successes of the Veneto-based company with over 2,000 units sold globally, the FS6.26 combines compact dimensions and high-level performance, offering an ideal solution for those seeking versatility and innovation. With a height of less than 2 meters, a width of just 1.92 meters and a turning radius of just 3.25 meters, the new telehandler is distinguished by its agility, which makes it particularly suitable for working in confined spaces such as poultry farms and greenhouses. At the same time, the long wheelbase ensures stability and load capacity ideal for operating in multiple sectors, from agriculture to livestock.
The FS6.26 has been designed to meet the most diverse needs: it can tackle rough terrain, carry bales, pallets and other load handling operations, with excellent all-round machine performance. This model represents a significant step forward compared to its predecessor, thanks to a series of technological innovations that improve its performance and reduce fuel consumption.
The new stepless electronic transmission allows for optimal power management, offering three driving modes: “Automotive” mode, which responds immediately to operator requests; “EcoSmart” mode, designed to optimize fuel consumption; and “Creeper” mode, which allows the engine speed to be adjusted independently of the forward speed, and is ideal for precision applications.
The transmission offers additional benefits such as automatic control of engine speed during cold starts, protection from over-revving and monitoring of hydraulic circuit overheating; solutions that extend the life cycle of the machine over time.
The hydraulic circuit has also been completely revamped. The 80-liter per minute pump with a pressure of 210 bar, together with the flow-sharing hydraulic distributors, allows up to three operations to be performed simultaneously, while the electro-proportional control guarantees smooth and precise movements of the arm. Other innovative features include the cabin-activated constant flow function, which makes it possible to maximize performance in applications such as the use of sweepers. The completely new design of the FS6.26 combines aesthetics and functionality.
The multi-layer composite material hood improves forward visibility, reduces engine noise and simplifies access to the engine compartment thanks to a removable side panel. The spacious and ergonomic cabin offers a comfortable driving experience with a 5-inch color display for parameter control and an electro-proportional joystick with integrated reverser, which facilitates safe maneuvers without having to take your hands off the steering wheel. Safety and reliability are ensured by technical solutions such as the emergency lock button, the stability indicator, the oil-immersed brakes and the limited-slip axles, which ensure optimal performance even in difficult working situations.
