At this year's EIMA International event FPT Industrial introduced the most valuable pieces of its “collection”.

F28 Stage V. Already a winner of the Diesel of The Year 2020 award and currently in use on specialized tractors for orchards and vineyards, the F28 Stage V is a complete and versatile solution, idea for applications requiring high performance and a small footprint, as it offers the performance of a 3.4-liter with a displacement of only 2-liters. It is driven by a multi-power engine featuring modular architecture compatible with diesel and natural gas fuels, as well as with hybrid applications. The F28 Stage V is distinguished by its compactness, versatility and high efficiency. It offers high torque at low revs (300 Nm at 1,000 rpm) and a maximum torque of 375 Nm at 1,400 rpm. Furthermore – as the manufacturer points out – a high-performance version specifically designed to provide 75 kW (100 Hp) at 415 Nm is available for this model. Its compact dimensions also include the after-treatment solutions adopted by FPT Industrial for the F28 Stage V, which allow the engine to be installed crosswise entirely under the hood. Single-side serviceability and 600-hour oil change intervals simplify maintenance and reduce operating costs.

N45. Another flagship of the FPT Industrial range. With over 2 million units produced since 2001 for a wide range of applications, the NEF series stands out for its durability and performance in terms of power and torque, and is available in 4 (N45) and 6 cylinder (N67) configurations, in a wide range of options and tailor-made solutions to meet customer needs. Thanks to FPT Industrial's EGR-free combustion system (reducing cooling energy requirements) and HI-eSCR2 after-treatment technology, NEF engines represent a true benchmark for productivity among mid-range engines. The Stage V versions with the HI-eSCR2 system feature a compact, lightweight design and small overall dimensions.

N67 NG. Designed to power open field tractors, the N67 Natural Gas – a 6.7-liter, 6-cylinder model – delivers a maximum power of 199 kW @ 1,800 rpm and torque of 1.160 Nm @ 1.500 rpm. It offers performance completely equivalent to the diesel version, but that benefits from a considerable reduction in CO2 (-10%, manufacturer data) and other pollutants (-80%). Biomethane fuel – explains the manufacturer in a note – makes it possible to achieve net zero carbon emissions. Stoichiometric technology and multi-point injection provide clean combustion, high performance and low emissions, while the turbocharger with its stainless steel turbine housing with water-cooled bearings ensure maximum reliability. Sustainability features are enhanced by indirect injection and a reduced compression ratio for lower noise and vibration levels compared to diesel engines (up to -5dB). The emissions control system features a simple, compact and maintenance-free three-way catalyst, without the need for a diesel particulate filter (DPF) or selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system.

R38. A new 3.8-liter turbocharged engine covering a power band of 50 kVA and 60 kVA within the power generation range, and 55 kW and 65 kW in the IPU version, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. The R38 is designed as a compact 4-cylinder G-Drive, with cooling system and air filter. The new 3.8-liter features a robust and reliable mechanical injection system. Maintenance operations are quick and simple thanks to accessibility from a single side. In its power generation version, the R38 is switchable from 1,500 to 1,800 rpm and is suitable for both prime and stand-by applications.

F28 IPU. Distinguished by its compact layout and high performance in the category under 3 liters, it is well suited to stationary and semi-stationary applications (irrigation pumps, water and sewage pumps, concrete pumps, chippers and shredders, crushers, drills, sprayers, etc.). Easy to install, operate and maintain, the F28 IPU delivers up to 75 kW (101 Hp) at 416 Nm with high torque even at low revs, for quick response and to make the most of synergies across all vehicle and machinery platforms. The F28 IPU is a complete pre-assembled solution that is easy to integrate into the end application.
