Checchi & Magli bring several new products to EIMA. The Bologna exhibition marks the launch of the new Dynamic automatic transplanter, equipped with a robot with the capacity to pick up to 14,400 plants/hour per row and composed of a plant magazine type metering mechanism, electro-pneumatic picking group, electrically controlled clod conveyor, failure control/recovery area and crate unloading. The robot and the units are independent to achieve perfect leveling with the ground. The lightweight and compact parallelogram features the NPS system for extra compaction, a plowshare with pneumatic ejector and the 410x80 or 410x60 mm flex rubber compacting wheels. ISOBUS makes it possible to manage information directly from the tractor. The machine will come in a version with a folding frame for road transport, but will also be offered with a fixed frame, carried or towed with a drawbar to achieve the smallest possible turning radius.

Checchi & Magli is also presenting the new Agil: a four-wheel drive utility vehicle that can be combined with transplanters and is equipped with a 2-liter 4-cylinder common rail engine, capable of delivering 60 Hp, while maintaining fuel consumption that is friendly to sustainability and the environment. It has a high-performance hydrostatic transmission, and the permanent 4WD maintains a constant grip even on very clayey terrain and steep inclines. The Agil features cruise control and an active brake system, the frame is load-bearing to protect the units, while the wide turning radius adapts to rough or uneven terrain, the speed varies from 0.3 to 8 km/h. The control station is equipped with a joystick and a multi-function screen to control the advancement and movement operations. The Agil will be on display with the Qubik four-row transplanter for pressed cubes and with the lane assist system (optional) at EIMA.

The new Seedpro-e, an electro-pneumatic seeder that can be combined with the Wolf Pro and Smartwolf transplanters rounds out the range of innovations from the Bologna-based company. The electrically-operated vacuum system allows the seeding disc to be fully loaded, reducing working times, while a sensor controls the automatic synchronization with the transplanter's perforating cups as the forward speed varies. The maximum speed of the machine is about 4 km/h with a productivity of up to 10,000 seeds/hour with synchronization and seed placement efficiency of up to 95%. The Seedpro-e can also be equipped with an optional synchronized electric watering device for each seed, which reduces stress and promotes rapid rooting.
