Eurocardan, innovative transmission systems
Eurocardan is a company from Abruzzo - the headquarters are located in the industrial area of Val di Sangro in Atessa (Chieti) - specialized in the design and production of cardan shafts and related safety components. These constructive solutions, we read on the company website, are designed for professional applications in both the agricultural and industrial fields. During the recent edition of EIMA International, held in Bologna from 7 to 11 November, the company from Atessa presented some of the precious pieces of its collection, starting from the cardan transmission Plus 14, able to meet the needs of a wide range of power, up to 400 Hp. On the Eurocardan stand, the spotlights are also aimed at the homokinetic transmission for powers up to 230 Hp and working angles up to 80°, as well as on the radial cam torque limiter, characterized by the mechanical disengagement device and automatic reset able to operate in both rotation directions.
In addition to the GS centralized lubrication system that enables greasing the telescopic tubes without having to disassemble the transmission, the focus is on the IPD integral protection technology, designed to guarantee total coverage of the rotating parts of the cardan shaft, isolating them from the external environment. The IPD device is integrated with a drive system, designed - in turn - to facilitate the engagement and disengagement operations compared to traditional solutions.
