Electronics and mechatronics, all the Hydac range
Technologies aimed at reducing the overall dimensions of diesel filtration systems, intelligent hydropneumatic suspensions, interconnected mechatronic systems for smart and precision farming: innovation is the star of the Hydac stand in Bologna
Reduced overall dimensions, high heat exchange performance, and optimal diesel filtration. These are the challenges that technological evolution and the introduction of increasingly rigorous standards for polluting emissions are launching to engine manufacturers. This is why the technicians of Hydac, a company headquartered in Agrate Brianza, have developed different, but complementary, possibilities for optimizing the dimensions: hydraulic tanks implemented through Tank Optimization, combined compact heat exchangers, integrated filter-exchanger-tank systems and miniaturization of the components. In particular, the Hydac exchangers satisfy both the growing demands for energy efficiency and the limits on noise emissions. These components, in fact, integrate the high performance of fan heat exchangers with brushless engines, equipped with the electronic control of the ramps and of the inversion or by the latest generation of fan drive hydraulic systems. In the constructive solutions devised by the German company, diesel filtration plays a central role, through the Hydac Diesel Pre-Care filtering bodies that eliminate impurities and the water contained in the fuel while specific cartridges allow to break down bacterial contamination. In the hydropneumatic suspension sector, Hydac has designed state-of-the-art suspension and steering systems, which guarantee safety and comfort and ensure high performance even at higher driving speeds. Hi-tech sensors and GPS technology can be integrated into “steer by wire” electronic steering systems. In the wide range of the Hydac offer, a prominent place is given to technologies for smart and precision farming with interconnected mechatronic systems. Sensors for monitoring the values of the quantities of the system, sensors for monitoring system values, display interfaces such as the HY-eVision display, control boards with decentralized architecture and full-duplex communication for the control and interconnection of the systems. These are the solutions implemented by Hydac with TTControl (a company born from the joint venture with TT-Tech) with which the mechanical means is operated by electronic control units (ECU, HY-TTC) constantly updated to be more and more productive. The different units are interlinked via CAN (CAN-bus) protocol. For the collection of all signals and the communication among individual units, the solution is TTConnect 616 It is a gateway with different interfaces, CAN, LIN and FlexRay, and an Ethernet switch for different technologies such as cameras and, in general, for systems implementing TSN (Time Sensitive Networking) protocols. The BroadR-Reach physical layer, on the other hand, guarantees full-duplex communication with 100 Mbps bit-rates. In this way, the TTConnect 616 becomes the “backbone” of the entire system, the component on which all electrical signals, from the single control units, the operating panels (HMI) and the cameras travel. The speed of transmission of information facilitates the management of significant amounts of data essential for autonomous driving. Connecting the machine to the cloud is simple: it’s enough to install a TTConnectWave interface to connect to the cloud wirelessly or use a 3G or 4G mobile network. TTConnectWave continuously and safely transfers the measured values, the machine, and its components status to the TTConnect Cloud Service. In this way, it is possible to access data from any authorized device, even for a predictive and prognostic maintenance of the system. The unit is equipped with a GPS module, which provides information in real time about the current location of the vehicle, wherever it is.
