Delicate processing with Roc band swathes

The RT 1150 windrower is one of the high productivity models made by the Riminese company Roc (the headquarters are in Poggio Torriana). Like all the other windrowers of the Romagna-based company, RT1150 is a band application. This means it does not drag the product onto the ground, but instead loads it onto its conveyor belt, then gently releases it to the ground to form a single side swath or two on both the sides (the operator can make 2, 3, 4 or 5 passes without losing the product, thus forming a single swath every 50 m). Composed of three elements, the RT 1150 has a working width of 11.5 metres and can be closed for road transport. The other windrower that Roc presents at Agritechnica, the RT 730 model, is definitely smaller. The machine is composed of two elements and has a variable working width from 5.9 to 7.3 metres thanks to a double hydraulic rocker that allows varying the distance between the two pickups also during work. When the two pickups are attached, the RT 730 can unload the two belts to the right, or to the left, or from both sides, while with the enlarged pickups it can create a middle swath, or on both sides, or a middle one and a side one. Like all the other belt models, the RT 1150 and Rt 730 are also prized for their workmanship quality. Thanks to the system developed by the Rimini company, not only is the product not exfoliated, but it is not even contaminated by stones or earth. In addition, the belt swathers allow the elimination of wet areas under the swaths and do not damage the future regrowth of the plants.
