"Zero maintenance" with the K-795T manufactured by Comer Industries
Comer Industries is previewing at Agritechnica the new K-795T group for rotary rakes, a component that does not require planning for periodic maintenance. The K-795T group is equipped with a bevel gear assembled in a closed chamber, grease-lubricated with high-performance, without the need for regeneration; a system of support brackets (the modular design of the components allows them to be disassembled and repaired one by one) with sealed bearings, service-free; a new tangential profile cam with wear-resistant finish and high hardness of the cam track in GS800 spheroidal cast iron. Among other things, the 3D geometry cam and the particular configuration of the brackets ensure high performance in the field with compact and regular swaths. The K-795T group for rotary rakes also distinguishes itself for a lightweight design, and at the same time for a high structural strength, made possible by the support of both brackets (aluminium alloy) as the reinforcing ribs on the lids. The gearbox, available for rotors of different widths (from eleven to fourteen brackets) can be supplied with a torque limiter and free input wheel, a compact option that protects the transmission and reduces the load in the event of a sudden stop in the tractor power traction. Here are the main technical specifications of the new K-795T group for rotary rakes designed by the Emilia company: bevel gear ratios: 8.2: 1 / 9.7: 1; input torque: 23,000 Nm; diameter of connecting arms, 40 mm; diameter of central connection shaft, 60 mm with 60x55 mm connector DIN 5482; input shaft 1’3 / 8 T6. Also worthy of note is the possibility of lateral left or right windrow and the adjustment device for the standard work phase.
