Cleaner 2
, a high-performance
suctionmachine

i chiama Cleaner 2 ed è uno dei modelli di punta del-
la gamma Ortomec. Si tratta di una macchina aspi-
ratrice semovente indicata per il trattamento di or-
taggi e piante a foglia, quali, ad esempio, rucola, spinacio,
ortensia. Oltre a segnalarsi per le sue prestazioni elevate
– Cleaner 2 interviene sul corpo della pianta tagliandolo al-
la lunghezza desiderata e aspirandone gli scarti – il semo-
vente della casa veneta risulta molto apprezzato per la pu-
lizia delle aiuole di coltivazione, che vengono così liberate
da residui vegetali dannosi, in quanto possibili portatori di
agenti patogeni. Infatti, gli scarti raccolti dal sistema di aspi-
razione attraverso la turbina aspirante vengono triturati e
macerati, restituendo un’ambiente più sano e più adatto ad
uno sviluppo ottimale delle coltivazione. Per questo, con il
semovente realizzato dall’impresa veneta è anche possibi-
le ridurre il ricorso ai trattamenti antiparassitari e fitosani-
tari, con un drastico utilizzo di sostanze chimiche. Dotato
di quattro ruote motrici, due delle quali sterzanti, Cleaner
2, si caratterizza poi per una grande potenza di aspirazione
resa possibile dal suo motore turbo diesel da 80 cavalli, ma
anche per la capacità – con un’unica passata a velocità so-
stenuta – di ribassare il prodotto da 20 fino ad un solo cen-
timetro.

ts name is Cleaner 2 and it is one of the top models from
the Ortomec range. It is a self-propelled suction machine
recommended for processing vegetables and leaf plants
such as, for example, rocket salad, spinach, and hydrangea.
Cleaner 2 acts on the plant’s body, cutting it to the desired
length and suctioning the waste. In addition to distinguishing
itself for its high performance, the self-propelled machine
from the Venetian brand is much appreciated for cleaning
crop beds and removing harmful crop residues, which are
possible carriers of pathogens.
The waste collected by the suction system through the vac-
uum turbine is shredded and macerated, restoring an envi-
ronment that is healthier and more suitable for the optimal
development of the crop.
For this reason, the self-propelled machine made by the Venet-
ian company also makes possible the reduction in the use of
pesticides and plant protection treatments, with a dramati-
cally reduced use of chemicals. Equipped with four driving
wheels, two of which are steered, Cleaner 2 is also charac-
terized by great suction power, made possible by its 80 horse-
power turbo diesel engine. It also has the ability to lower the
product from 20 down to a single centimetre with a single
high-speed pass.
