tivo tanto importante.
Lapoliticasembraaver compreso lastrategicaattivitàpreventiva che
lo strumento della revisione potrebbe rappresentare per ovviare al
fenomenodellemorti bianche inagricoltura,edaalcuni anni stapor-
tando avanti un iter legislativo al fine di renderla obbligatoria: era il
dicembre2012quandonell’ambitodel “DecretoCrescita” vennemo-
dificato l’art. 111del CodicedellaStrada, introducendo l’attuazione
della revisione sulle macchine agricole a partire dal primo gennaio
2014. Da allora diverse proroghe hanno fatto slittare di semestre in
semestre lasuaattuazione finoallapubblicazionesullaGazzettaUf-
ficiale (n. 149, 30/06/2015) del Decreto attuativo “Revisionemac-
chine agricole” il quale fissa i tempi e le modalità di realizzazione
della stessa.
Il provvedimento prevede che i trattori agricoli siano sottoposti a re-
visione dal 1° gennaio 2016 (Tab.4), mentre le macchine agricole
operatrici semoventi a due o più assi immatricolate (vendemmiatri-
ci,mietitrebbiatrici etc.) ed i rimorchi agricoli immatricolati sianosot-
toposti a revisione dal 1° gennaio 2018.
Il decreto stabilisce inoltre che la revisione dovrà essere effettuata
ogni cinque anni.

ulates that these revisionsmust be carried out every five years.

Attention trained on safety in agriculture is not limited to adequatemachin-
ery features with the installation of specific devices; accidents are also often
caused by reasons directly connected to the lack of the operator’s prepara-
tion to deal with dangerous situations.
By definition,anaccident isanunforeseeneventwhich leads todamage, thus
when this happens there is little or nothing that canbe done to remedy it.On
the other hand, efforts can bemade to avoid the unforeseen, beginningwith
the right training and information for those on the job.Though the revision in-
strument can be applied to “force” the owners of agricultural machinery to
bring their inventoriesup to the safety standards required, itwill bemuchmore
difficult to “implant” a safetymentality for the daily operations carried out by
