World premiere at the Hanover event for the much anticipated X8 series, with which McCormick makes its debut in the power segment above 300 horsepower. The three models of the new X8, powered by Beta Power Fuel Efficiency 6.7 litre turbocharged 6-cylinder engines with electronic variable geometry turbocharger (eVGT) start from a minimum of 264 horsepower up to 310 for the top of the range. In addition to the ZF four-stage continuously variable transmission, another winning features of the X8 series is the design, with a style of the hood, body and cabin interior that offers standards typical of the automotive industry. As is McCormick tradition, great attention was paid to the design of the cabin, quiet, insulated from vibrations, air-conditioned to create a comfortable and ergonomic working environment for the operator. Meanwhile, in the X6 range, the X6 VT-Drive version makes its debut (ideal for farms and municipalities), incorporating the technical characteristics of the X6, but differing from it for the continuously variable transmission produced by Argo Tractors, with multifunction armrest and VT-Easypilot system to control the various tractor functions. The continuously variable transmission is also supplied on the X7 VT-Drive models (three 4-cylinder models BetaPower Fuel Efficiency with outputs of 147, 160 and 176 hp and two 6-cylinder models with 181 and 195hp), equipped with the four-stage ZF and the DSM device (Data Screen Manager, or a 12” Touchscreen monitor) for controlling the operating parameters and the performance of the tractor, the area relating to the ISOBUS as per ISO 11783.

Across the range, the PSM (Precision Steering Management) satellite guidance system is available as an option, providing a second additional 8.4” touchscreen monitor for the management of the satellite guidance system, the active guidance function EazySteer and the advanced ISOBUS functions of section & task controller.

In the X7 family, the X7.650 tractor makes its debut with a 160 horsepower 6-cylinder engine, with a layout designed to ensure the high standards of quality and comfort of the X7 range and to meet the needs of customers looking for a simple and functional product. In other words, the X7.650 model is a machine in the name of convenience of use, yet without sacrificing the particular structural characteristics of the 6-cylinder X7, such as the chassis-suspended engine and the ergonomic controls.
