Magnum and Gamma, new equipment from Falc
The Magnum by Falc, a folding power harrow suitable for operations on hard and stony terrain, was developed to offer subcontractors and large farms a reliable and safe tool, able to provide the highest standards of quality, starting from the utensils. The power harrow by Falc is equipped with knives that are particularly resistant to mechanical stresses - respectively measuring 18 mm in thickness and 320 mm in length - fitted, in turn, with round support elements, studied by the technicians of the Faenza company with the aim of reducing any obstructions caused by stones or other debris. Each element has SKF tapered roller bearings housed inside rotor supports that confer solidity to the frame while protecting the lower part of the structure. Marketed with working widths of 5, 6 and 7 metres, Magnum has box groups compatible with tractors up to 350 horsepower. In the range of tillers offered by the team from Romagna, all eyes are also on two other applications. These are the Gamma 5000 and Gamma 6000 folding cutters, and despite a width (5 metres for the first, 6 for the second) that provides the user with a productive yield and a reduction in working times, they have a road footprint of only 279 centimetres. Also, with the aim of facilitating transport by road, Falc equipped the two cutters with a system of synchronized pistons that manage the opening and closing of the arms. In this way, deploying the machine only requires a single lever, with which the operator activates first the piston of the locking hooks, then the two that open the arms. Closing it requires following the same procedure, but in this case the closing pistons are activated first, followed by the one that controls the locking clips.
