The New CVH homokinetic transmission for heavy duty applications

Benzi, a Milanese manufacturer specializing in cardan drive shafts, continues to innovate. At this year's Bologna event, the Lombard manufacturer is expanding its homokinetic range with the release of the new CVH 200 Hp homokinetic transmission model, which, according to the company, is among the most advanced solutions present on the market in terms of technical features, performance and power. The new transmission was in fact developed with Benzi's patented Smart Drive System (SDS) for constant velocity joints, which allows for improved product reliability even in heavy working conditions with wide angles. Thanks to SDS technology – explains the Milanese company in a technical note – the wide-angle joint has been completely redesigned to optimize its dimensions, improve performance, minimize vibrations, extend its life and facilitate maintenance. The CVH transmission is also equipped with the new completely redesigned Evolution Endurance protection with a single chain retention system that facilitates attachment to the tractor or operating machine frame. Other key features of Benzi's new accident protection device also include the reduction in the diameter of the bellows which facilitates assembly operations on the tractor's master-shield.
