Pöttinger Jumbo 5000 for optimum forage collection

Pöttinger presents the JUMBO 5000, a compact loader wagon whose power and high loading volume are a perfect complement to this series. It is a universal self-loading wagon that combines the activities of harvesting, cutting, compacting and transporting forage in a single vehicle. The Jumbo 5000 is available in 6 models with loading volumes from 32 to 54 m³. In detail, the characteristics of the wagon include an All-rounder pick-up with 6 rows of tines with a collection width of 1,890 mm and a Profi pick-up with 7 rows of tines with a DIN collection width of 2,350 mm, to ensure maximum cleanliness of the collected forage under any conditions of use. It has a powerful 1,580 mm wide loading rotor with a diameter of 800 mm, with 8 rows of 10 mm tines arranged in a spiral - which guides the forage with minimal effort through the cutter bar - for optimal harvesting even with wet and short crops. The POWERCUT cutting unit with 45 knives - all individually protected from foreign bodies to prevent system inefficiencies and downtime - it is equipped with an EASY MOVE lateral exit device for the cutting unit which allows the knives to be changed or rotated in an ergonomic position. The system has been designed to offer the greatest sharpness of knives which must meet this standard to ensure optimal cutting, reduced energy consumption and load performance. Upon request the Jumbo 5000 can be equipped with the AUTOCUT electric-hydraulic sharpening system, which can operate directly on the carriage automatically. A movable front panel comes standard to provide and additional volume of 4.3 m³ with the same length of wagon and improved maneuverability in small spaces, as well as an automatic loading device (also as standard), for greater working comfort and to optimize compaction and loading activities.

Finally, various lighting system packages, a standard self-steering axle for greater vehicle handling, with the option, upon request - the vehicle is ISOBUS compatible - for POWER CONTROL, EXPERT 75 or CCI 1200 control terminals. The JUMBO 5000 is also available as a DB (Discharge Beater) wagon with two or three beater rotors for uniform forage unloading.
