Ermax TM11 lights, designed to last over time
In September, the company BPW-Hungária Kft - specialized in creating agricultural suspension systems and special axles and that together with the Ermax brand is part of the German group BPW Bergische Achsen KG - presented a new type of rear light so strong that it can withstand the impact of a hammer. At Agritechnica, the Hungarian company launches the next model with full LED lights and dynamic scroll arrow, which finds in agriculture its ideal field of use thanks to its sturdiness. Ermax TM11 - that is its name - brings together seven functions in a shallow depth box, at just 47 millimetres, and is available with a device for checking the correct operation of turn signals and brake lights. However, Ermax TM11 is also equipped with the flashing function system of the side profile lights in sync with the turn signals. As the manufacturer explains, all the functions are integrated in 12 Volt and 24 Volt lights for use in commercial and agricultural vehicles, while the flashing light with dynamic action from the inside to the outside brings to mind the Lamborghini Aventador (a tribute to the founder of Italian sports supercars). The new LED rear lights made by BPW-Hungária Kft and Ermax are made of polycarbonate, a material that offers high impact resistance, characterized by a long life, while the attachments are of the “Superseal” type, i.e. hermetically sealed against water and dust. “The change of the light bulb from a disposable consumer product to a item of lasting quality - said Torben Pagh, director of Ermax A/S, manufacturer of the Ermax lights - also reduces the long-term impact of microplastics on the environment”. Because, unlike traditional models, which over time can crumble into microplastics due to shocks, knocks and vibrations, TM11 lights offer 17 times greater impact resistance (manufacturer data) and are designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle.
