Zephiro - a winner of the EIMA 2024 Technical Innovation award - is a fully-electric trailed sprayer that marks the introduction of several technological innovations developed by Caffini to improve the machine's operational efficiency and the sustainability of agricultural processes. Unquestionably, the greatest strong point of this model is its use of PWM valves and electric blowers to optimize spraying with instant regulation of the liquid volume and air flow. Furthermore, as the manufacturer states, Zephiro offers the ability to vary the volume of air along the entire vertical profile of the plant. Another plus of the latest addition to the Caffini range is the 48V electrification which eliminates mechanical operation via PDF and cardan shaft, improving maneuvering agility at the end of the row and safety.
The hardware and software equipment of the sprayer is also very commendable: stereoscopic cameras and AI algorithms allow the equipment to dynamically adapt the treatments to the real needs of the plants, while ISOBUS facilitates the integration of the vehicle with tractors, making the management of the system intuitive and efficient.

The optimizations achieved with Zephiro, especially in the management and production of air, have also made it possible to halve the absorbed power compared to a conventional machine, with the advantage of energy saving and reduction of CO2.

Zephiro thus has all the credentials to raise the standards of phytosanitary treatments, improving their precision and environmental sustainability, and also contributing to an optimal use of resources.
