Clim.air.50, featured at EIMA a line of wood chip dryers
A counter-flow dryer for baled forage, equipped with an innovative wood chip burner and a new feeding system. This is the main innovation that Clim.air.50, a company based in Santa Giustina in Colle and operating on the international market, is presenting at the 44th edition of EIMA International.
The most significant technical feature of the dryer made by the Veneto-based company is an innovative heat generation system that optimises the combustion of wood chips. Wood chips - explains the manufacturer in a technical note - are not only one of the most convenient biomasses, but are also particularly eco-sustainable from the point of view of the carbon dioxide cycle. The wood chip burner power plant developed by the Clim.air.50's technical team - reads a note from the Padua-based company - not only offers better combustion, but is also less prone to maintenance.
The construction solution developed by Clim.air.50, which also won a mention in the Technical Innovation 2021 competition, has a considerable impact on the production costs of farms because, as the Veneto-based manufacturer claims, it significantly reduces the share of drying costs. In addition, thanks to the new wood chip feeding system and remote control capabilities, falling under Industry 4.0 - another innovation launched with the new Clim.air.50 - the forage drying process is also managed more efficiently.
