xFarm Technologies acquires two foreign companies

xFarm Technologies, a Milan-based tech company that aims to digitalize the agromechanical sector, has announced the acquisition of two foreign companies, one Spanish and one French. The first one is Greenfield Technologies, a company based in Badajoz in the south-west of Spain, specialized in the digital representation of soil characteristics. The second one is the Parisian SpaceSense which provides climate intelligence services. Using satellite data and artificial intelligence, the French company helps operators perform environmental sustainability analysis through actions such as carbon monitoring, which measures man's impact on the environment. «Through the technological complementarity between the three companies – commented Matteo Vanotti, CEO of xFarm Technologies – we will work to make services related to Climate Intelligence and agronomic support based on artificial intelligence available to operators in the sector. The goal is to accompany agricultural companies in the digital transition towards more sustainable agriculture." In the last two years, the Milanese company has seen its presence expand internationally, first in the Iberian peninsula, then in France, Germany and Poland.
