The negative situation for the national agricultural machinery market continues. The data released by FederUnacoma at the press conference to present EIMA International 2024, held in Bologna on 5 November, indicate significant declines compared to the same period last year for all the main types of vehicles. Tractors (13,038 units sold) lost 14.6% while combine harvesters (259 units) fell by 31.5%. There was also a minus for transporters (446 vehicles registered from January to October) and for telescopic lifters (845), which left 18.2% and 14.9% on the ground respectively. The decline in trailers was more limited (6,653), limiting the decline to 2.4%. According to FederUnacoma’s forecasts, the contraction in sales should continue in the coming months; for a market recovery we will have to wait for the second half of the new year.
