The H3 Direct has been designed by Seppi M. technicians to be combined with excavators with a hydraulic flow rate of 25-60 l/min and features a working width of between 60 and 85 centimeters. Its compact size means that the machine can be used with mini-excavators and can work even in the tightest spaces, where the SMW flail can shred grass and shrubs up to a diameter of 3 cm. The main innovation introduced by the technicians of the Mezzolombardo (Trento) company is the direct transmission which involves the coupling of the gear motor with the rotor. This solution – explains the Trentino manufacturer in a technical note – not only offers the operator greater safety but also reduces the need for maintenance, since it prevents failures caused by wear on the transmission belts. Advantages of the Direct model include the Drainless system, which eliminates the third drainage pipe and makes it easier to combine the machine with the mini-excavator. The frame of the mulcher is made of wear-resistant AR400 steel, and its low weight and robust structure do not place a burden on the excavator's hydraulic system, making more power available to the rotor. Le dimensioni contenute permettono di utilizzare la macchina con mini-escavatori e le consentono di lavorare negli spazi più stretti dove, grazie al martello SMW, può trinciare erba e arbusti fino ad un diametro di 3 centimetri. La principale novità introdotta dai tecnici della casa di Mezzolombardo (Trento) è rappresentata dalla trasmissione diretta che prevede l’accoppiamento del motore a ingranaggi con il rotore. Questa soluzione – spiega il costruttore trentino con una nota tecnica – non solo offre all’operatore una maggiore sicurezza e riduce anche la frequenza degli interventi di manutenzione, poiché previene i guasti causati dall’usura delle cinghie di trasmissione. Tra i plus del modello Direct, spicca il sistema Drainless che elimina il terzo tubo di drenaggio e rende più semplice l’abbinamento della macchina al mini-escavatore. Il telaio della trinciatrice è stato realizzato in acciaio AR400 anti-usura, inoltre il peso ridotto e la struttura robusta non vanno a gravare sull’impianto idraulico dell’escavatore, redendo disponibile una maggiore quantità di potenza per il rotore.
