Sono i vincitori, ciascuno nella propria categoria, del Tractor of the Year 2025, che ha celebrato il suo momento più solenne – quello della premiazione – lo scorso 6 novembre, nella giornata inaugurale di EIMA International. A Bologna è così giunto a compimento l’impegnativo processo di selezione dei trattori finalisti, iniziato lo scorso febbraio e proseguito nei dieci mesi successivi con la valutazione dei 25 candidati, affidata come di consueto ad una giuria internazionale di esperti. Per l’edizione 2025 del Tractor of the Year, gli organizzatori della rivista Trattori hanno previsto diverse novità. A partire dalla suddivisione della “categoria regina” del Trattore dell’Anno in due sotto-categorie: nella prima, riservata alle gamme di alta potenza, si è imposto il Case IH Quadtrac 715; nella seconda, per le medie potenze, l’ha spuntata il Fendt 620 Vario DP. Ma la vera, grande novità del ToTY è l’esordio della sezione denominata TotYBot, pensata per i robot agricoli autonomi, che sempre più spesso vengono impegnati nelle lavorazioni agricole e che sembrano destinati a diventare i veri protagonisti del settore primario. Il primo vincitore in assoluto del premio TotYBot è il modello AgXeed 5.115T2, una macchina porta-attrezzi specificamente concepita per le applicazioni del precision farming. The demanding selection process for the finalist tractors, which began last February and continued over the following ten months with the evaluation of the 25 candidates, entrusted as usual to an international jury of experts, thus came to an end in Bologna. The organizers from Trattori magazine included several new features in the 2025 edition of Tractor of the Year. Starting by dividing the “supreme category” of the Tractor of the Year into two sub-categories: in the first, reserved for the high power ranges, the Case IH Quadtrac 715 won; in the second, for medium power ranges, the Fendt 620 Vario DP won. But the real, big news of ToTY was the debut of the TotYBot division created for autonomous agricultural robots, which are increasingly used in agricultural work and which seem destined to become the key players in the primary sector. The first ever winner of the TotYBot award was the AgXeed 5.115T2 model, a tool carrier specifically designed for precision farming applications.
