GIARDINAGGIO 68 GIARDINAGGIO Sostenibili e resistenti, i nuovi decespugliatori EMAK Sustainable and resistant, the new EMAK brushcutters by Fabrizio Sereni Emak of Bagnolo in Piano, a Reggio Emilia-based company specialising in the production and marketing of lawn care machines, presents the new Oleo-Mac BCH 310 S and Efco DSH 3100 S “H” series brushcutters, designed to carry out lawn cleaning or edge trimming jobs in an ecological and silent way. The two brushcutters are powered by a 4-stroke OHV engine with overhead valve timing that does not emit smoke or unpleasant odours, and which guarantees low levels of noise, vibrations and consumption. Compared to a traditional 2-stroke engine – explains Emak in a technical note – the OHV cuts hydrocarbon emissions by 85% and nitrogen oxide emissions by 65%, while the electronically controlled digital coil makes starting the vehicle easier and guarantees uniform combustion. There are many technical solutions implemented by the Emilian company to raise the performance bar and extend the life cycle of the brushcutter over time. The large paper filter, thanks to its external gasket, optimises filtering capacity and hermetic seal to microparticles; the filter cover, secured with 2 easily removable screws, facilitates maintenance interventions; the plastic tank protection, robust and with small dimensions, prevents possible damage to the tank itself during use and transport operations. Another very advantageous solution is the AlwaysOn system which, after each switch-off, automatically returns the on/off switch to the on position, thus avoiding the risk of flooding the engine. The Oleo-Mac BCH 310 S and Efco DSH 3100 S brushcutters also stand out for their ease of use, thanks to the Primer and Choke controls which facilitate starting, and the “EasyOn” device (a double spring in the starter casing combined with the drive with two ratchets) which ensures less effort with each pull and quick starting with a limited number of pulls. I due decespugliatori sono alimentati da un motore OHV 4 tempi con distribuzione a valvole in testa che non emette fumo e odori sgradevoli, e che garantisce bassi livelli di rumorosità, vibrazioni, consumi. Rispetto a un tradizionale propulsore 2 tempi – spiega con una nota tecnica Emak – l’OHV taglia dell’85% le emissioni di idrocarburi e del 65% quelle di ossidi di azoto, mentre la bobina digitale a controllo elettronico agevola l’avviamento del mezzo e garantisce una combustione uniforme. Molte sono le soluzioni tecniche implementate dalla casa emiliana per alzare l’asticella delle prestazioni e prolungare nel tempo il ciclo di vita del decespugliatore. Il filtro di carta di ampie dimensioni, grazie alla sua guarnizione esterna, ottimizza capacità filtrante e tenuta ermetica alle microparticelle; il coprifiltro, con fissaggio a 2 viti facilmente removibili, agevola gli interventi di manutenzione; la protezione del serbatoio in plastica, robusta e con ingombri ridotti, previene possibili danni al serbatoio stesso durante l’utilizzo e le operazioni di trasporto. Altra soluzione assai vantaggiosa è quella relativa al sistema AlwaysOn che, dopo ogni spegnimento, riporta automaticamente l’interruttore on/off nella posizione di accensione, evitando così il rischio di ingolfare il motore. I decespugliatori Oleo-Mac BCH 310 S ed Efco DSH 3100 S si segnalano anche per la facilità uso, grazie ai comandi Primer e Choke che agevolano l’avviamento, e al dispositivo “EasyOn”, (è una doppia molla nel carter di avviamento abbinato al trascinatore con due cricchetti) che assicura minor sforzo ad ogni strappo e rapidità di accensione con limitata quantità di strappi. Sempre in chiave di manutenzione agevolata, da segnalare infine la griglia marmitta che può essere smontata separatamente dagli altri componenti della macchina, semplificando e velocizzando gli interventi dell’operatore.
