Dopo un inizio d’anno caratterizzato da temperature elevate prima e da una recrudescenza invernale poi, la stagione primaverile si è stabilizzata alternando precipitazioni piovose a giornate di sole intenso e favorendo così lo sviluppo vegetativo delle piante. Gli acquisti di macchine per la cura dei tappeti erbosi, la manutenzione delle siepi e la gestione del verde urbano hanno registrato già nei primi mesi dell’anno un andamento positivo: il primo trimestre aveva segnato una crescita del 2% rispetto allo stesso trimestre dello scorso anno. Nel secondo trimestre si sono registrati segnali di sofferenza nei primi 2 mesi, dovuti alle forti piogge, ma, alla fine di maggio, appena la stagione primaverile è ripartita, favorendo uno sviluppo consistente della copertura vegetale, si è assistito ad un recupero delle vendite di macchine. I dati – elaborati dall’associazione dei costruttori Comagarden e dal gruppo di rilevamento statistico Morgan – indicano nel bilancio complessivo del primo semestre un risultato in linea con quello dello stesso periodo 2023 (+0,3%), con incrementi significativi per alcune tipologie: i rasaerba crescono del 7%, i decespugliatori a scoppio del 5,6%, i decespugliatori/line-trimmers dell’11,7%. After a start to the year characterised first by high temperatures and then by a winter recrudescence, the spring season stabilised, alternating between rainy and sunny days, thus favouring the vegetative development of the plants. Purchases of machinery for turf care, hedge maintenance and urban green management already showed a positive trend in the first months of the year: the first quarter showed a growth of 2% compared to the same quarter last year. In Q2, there were signs of distress in the first two months, due to heavy rains, but, at the end of May, as soon as the spring season restarted, favouring a consistent development of the vegetation cover, machine sales recovered. The figures - compiled by the manufacturers' association Comagarden and the Morgan statistical survey group - show an overall result for the first half of the year in line with that of the same period in 2023 (+0.3%), with significant increases for some types: lawn mowers grew by 7%, petrol-driven brushcutters by 5.6%, and brushcutters/line trimmers by 11.7%.
