Gli investimenti devono tornare al centro della politica industriale italiana ed europea. «Occorre attuare subito Industria 5.0, che però è legata al Pnrr mentre – ha affermato Orsini – serve una visione più lunga, misure a cinque anni, e definire le direttrici dei contratti di sviluppo». Investire significa puntare anche sulla realizzazione delle grandi opere di cui l’Italia ha bisogno. Servono soprattutto infrastrutture di collegamento: la priorità è unire il Paese. Per questo sull'autonomia differenziata vanno rivisti alcuni capitoli ed è necessario fare ragionamenti un po' più complessi, perché su temi come energia, logistica, infrastrutture non si può correre il rischio di dividere Nord e Sud. «Nel momento in cui con gran forza chiediamo gli Stati uniti d’Europa – ha commentato Orsini – dobbiamo promuovere lo sviluppo industriale del Mezzogiorno, per abbattere i divari economici e sociali. È indispensabile avvicinare il livello di occupazione tra settentrione e meridione». L’appello al confronto. Centrale nel programma del neopresidente di Confindustria è il dialogo con Governo e sindacati. «Sediamoci per confrontarci, in modo non conflittuale ma costruttivo.
