La macchina, presentata a Fieragricola lo scorso febbraio, è stata progettata dai tecnici veronesi – la sede di Caffini è a Palù, in provincia di Verona – per migliorare l’efficienza produttiva delle aziende agricole grazie all’utilizzo di tecnologie di ultima generazione, come la guida autonoma e i sistemi di precision farming con cui è equipaggiata. Tra questi ultimi spicca l’AG Drive, la nuova piattaforma software di gestione della trazione, realizzata da Bosch Rexroth, che consente di lavorare in campo, fino ad un massimo di 25 km/h, e negli spostamenti su strada di raggiungere i 50 km/h. Inoltre, grazie alla modalità Traction Force Distribution, la forza di trazione dello sprayer viene distribuita in percentuali diverse sulle quattro ruote dello Striker, in base alla pendenza del terreno. Questo è reso possibile grazie ai dati che i sensori inerziali inviano all’AG Drive. Tra gli altri plus dello sprayer, figura la funzione Eco Mode, che adegua in automatico i giri del motore termico a seconda del tipo di lavorazione in cui è impiegata la macchina, riducendo di conseguenza i consumi. Il software, inoltre, permette di gestire l’inserimento o il disinserimento automatico del motore in base alla velocità richiesta. Among the other pluses of the sprayer, there is the Eco Mode function, which automatically adjusts the revolutions of the internal combustion engine according to the type of processing in which the machine is used, consequently reducing consumption. The software also allows you to manage the automatic switching on or off of the motor according to the required speed. The sprayer's equipment is completed by ABS and ASC (Anti Slip Control) systems that improve operator safety.
