Gli accessori
Per rendere sempre più agevole e veloce il lavoro, i carri rac-
colta frutta possono essere dotati di numerosi accessori. La
Pillon di Breganze (VI) prevede ad esempio la possibilità di
convogliare i frutti di seconda scelta in un contenitore dedi-
cato, e un utile radiocomando tramite la quale sono dispo-
nibili a distanza le funzioni principali della macchina. Per l’ap-
plicazione delle reti antigrandine, è previsto uno specifico ar-
co agevolatore, mentre per la potatura con forbici pneuma-
tiche gli attacchi all’impianto di alimentazione sono dispo-
nibili direttamente sui parapetti, mentre il compressore è do-
tato di un dispositivo di controllo del regime di rotazione.
Le tendenze
Un’importante evoluzione che si sta progressivamente af-
fermando riguarda il trasporto a nastri dei frutti dall’opera-
tore al bin, in modo da garantire al prodotto la massima de-
licatezza di manipolazione. In pratica, la macchina dispone
di una serie di nastri in movimento disposti radialmente, do-
tati di cavità o serie di dita in gomma o materiale plastico,
entro le quali vengono collocati i frutti da parte degli opera-
tori. I nastri periferici confluiscono su un trasportatore cen-
trale a rulli, sul quale può essere eseguita una prima cerni-
ta, in modo manuale o automatico, tramite dispositivi ottici,
meccanici, ecc. Infine dal trasportatore centrale il prodotto
confluisce nel bin, dopo aver talvolta effettuato una grosso-
lana pulizia tramite spazzolatura. In tal modo, i tempi di rac-
colta, ma soprattutto la qualità del prodotto, risultano mi-
gliorati perché i frutti subiscono un unico scambio di nastro.

Accessories
To facilitate and speed up work, fruit harvesting platforms
can be equipped with a variety of accessories. Pillon in Bre-
ganze, near Vicenza, for example, offers the option of con-
veying second-choice fruit to a dedicated bin and a useful re-
mote control units for operating the main functions of the
machine from a distance. A special bow support is designed
to facilitate the preparation of anti-hail nets; for pruning, pneu-
matic shears mounted on the air outlets directly on the para-
pet are available and the compressor is equipped with a de-
vice which controls the rotation regime.
Trends
An important development progressively taking hold regards
the conveyer belts transporting the fruit from the picker to
the bins to ensure maximum sensitivity in handling the prod-
uct. At work, the machine deploys a series of conveyers in
motion in a radial arrangement. The pickers place the fruit in
cavities on the belt or rubber or plastic projections and the
peripheral belts convey the fruit to a central set of rollers
where the first selection is performed, either manually or au-
tomatically by optical or mechanical devices. Finally the cen-
tral belt conveys the fruit to the bins, sometimes after an ini-
tial cleaning of the product with brushes.
