United Kingdom, logistics slows down the tractor market

26.01.2023

In the United Kingdom, the tractor market closes 2022 with 11,580 units registered and a slight decrease compared to the previous year. According to data provided by the EEA, the association of agricultural machinery manufacturers of Great Britain, the supply chain interruptions, mainly caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and by the by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, have influenced the purchase of new machines. According to the EEA, the drop in registrations does not reflect the real trend in demand, which, even in 2022, would remain at high levels. In fact - claims the AEA - due to logistics problems, the builders were unable to fulfill all the orders received last year, which will probably be delivered in the first months of 2023.
