Tractors, market keeps going in 2023

For the third consecutive year, the French tractor market scores a positive balance in 2023. According to data released by Axema - the French association of agricultural machinery manufacturers - 26,200 units were registered in 2023, marking an increase of 4.2% compared to 2022. The report also highlights an increase in the average power of tractors sold in the country, which reached 163.5 HP (in 2022 it was 161 HP) thanks to a strong growth in the registrations of vehicles with 300 HP (+17.6% compared to 2022). In contrast, for the second consecutive year, the specialized segment recorded a sharp decline, losing 11.9% to 2023 with a total of 3,303 units bought by farmers.
