Argo Tractors has taken a further step forward in organizational and qualitative development with the opening of a new plant in Campagnola Emilia, in the province of Reggio Emilia, dedicated to the production of transmissions. The plant covers an area of 30 thousand square meters and employs 150 people. «Argo Tractors' product evolution and innovation – declared Alberto Morra, member of the Argo Tractors Management Committee – has seen an acceleration in recent years. Hence the need to introduce a high level of specialization also in the transmission assembly lines, through the creation of a dedicated factory». The new Argo Tractors site is characterized by four assembly lines differentiated by power and range, each of which is supported by satellite pre-assembly areas. Particular attention was paid to the supply of components managed through a depot which is constantly fed by the central warehouse and from which the specific components of the individual transmissions are sorted to the lines. In the new factory, there is also a testing area.
