14.11.2024
The climate of uncertainty in foreign markets and the national market dampens the Italian production of agricultural machinery. FederUnacoma's forecasts for 2024 indicate a decline of 19.5%, resulting in a total value of 13.2 billion euros, which is 3.2 billion less than the previous year. The data, presented in Bologna during the press conference for the EIMA International event, indicates a decrease across all product types. The production of tractors (value just over 2 billion euros) drops by 25%, while the production of incomplete tractors and spare parts decreases by 28.6% (about 1 billion), and the operating machines and equipment show a decline of 16.5% (6.2 billion). The contraction also affected components (-17.5% for a value of 3.3 billion) and gardening and green care machines (-22.2% and 700 million).
